Great recipe when family comes in for holiday. Prepare the night before and bake in the morning.

Ingredients

6 slice
bread
2 Tbsp
butter
1 lb
sausage
1-1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
6
eggs, beaten
2 c
milk
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper

Step-By-Step

1Remove crust from bread. Spread butter on bread and place bread in greased 13x9 casserole dish.

2Cook sausage until brown, drain, and then spoon over bread. Sprinkle with cheese.

3Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper; mix well. Pour over ingredients in pan. Cover and refrigerate until morning.

4Remove from fridge 15 minutes before cooking. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
