This is one of the tastiest, easiest breakfast casseroles I've ever made. My lovely sister shared this recipe with me, I tweaked it to suit me and now it's my own.

My family devoured this simple casserole. You have got to try it sometime...Use ham, bacon, sausage...whatever your favorite breakfast meat is, even well seasoned pre cooked chicken would be good in this for a brunch.

3/4 lb
bulk sausage - i used bob evans - or use your favorite
1 box
( 6 ounce ) chicken - stove top stuffing
eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp
salt & pepper
1 1/2 c
1/2 c
heavy cream
1 3/4 c
shredded, cheddar cheese - divided


Step 1 Direction Photo

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

Crumble your sausage & brown. Drain well.

2Whisk eggs, milk, cream, salt and pepper. Stir in 1 1/4 cup cheese, sausage, stuffing mix. Thoroughly blend.

3Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non stick cooking spray.

Pour egg mixture evenly into dish and spread evenly.

4Bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until cooked through and golden. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and return to oven, just until melted.

5Serve immediately! It's absolutely delish!
