Mom made this delicious cofee cake in the 1950's. Its simple and yummy.

Ingredients

COFFEE CAKE:

1 c
flour
1 c
sugar
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
2 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 c
milk
1/4 c
butter
1
egg

TOPPING:

3/4 c
sugar
1 Tbsp
cinnamon

Step-By-Step

1Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, milk, margarine and egg.

Pour into a greased and floured 9 inch square pan.
2Mix topping sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle top of coffee cake heavily with this mixture. This gives a crusty snickerdoodle top.

Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
