  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp
    allspice
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    melted butter
  • 4
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    orange zest
  • 1 tsp
    lemon zest
  • 1
    15-ounce can pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped
  • FOR THE CINNAMON SWIRL
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    cinnamon

How To Make pumpkin pecan cinnamon swirl bread

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter two 9x5 inch loaf pans. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and salt.

    In another bowl, whisk sugar, melted butter, eggs, orange and lemon zests, pumpkin and water until combined. Add the wet ingredients to the dry. Mix until just combined. Stir in pecans. In small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon.

    Add a quarter of the batter to each loaf pan. Sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar. Add remaining batter to the loaf pans. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 15 minutes, then remove from pans and let cool completely on a wire rack.
