I love this bread, the spices, the raisins and pumpkin. A little glaze on top !

Ingredients

2 c
all purpose flour
1 1/2 c
white sugar
1 tsp
baking soda
3/4 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 c
crisco oil
2
eggs
1/2 can(s)
pumpkin (1 cup)
1/3 c
water
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 tsp
allspice
1/2 tsp
nutmeg
1/4 tsp
cloves
1/2 c
raisin, and or walnuts. or chocolate chips or a little of each.

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine all ingredients and mix well and bake in a greased loaf pan for 1 hour in a 350 degree oven. Could use 4 small pans 6 x 3 1/2 x 2 can be used but only bake 40 minutes. Make nice little gift loaves.

GLAZE (OPTIONAL)
Spiced Glaze : Combine 1/2 C confectioners sugar, 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Blend 1-2 tsp of cream or milk until the consistency of a glaze and spread over baked loaf.
