Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I absulutely love this bread! I got the recipe from Allrecipes.com. This bread gets better with time so plan to make it 1-2 day ahead.

Ingredients

15 oz can pumpkin puree
4
eggs
1 c
vegetable oil
2/3 c
water
3 c
white sugar
3 1/2 c
alll purpose flour
2 tsp
baking soda
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
ground cinammon
1 tsp
ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp
ground cloves
1/4 tsp
ground ginger

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour three 7x3 in loaf pans.

2In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water and sugar until well blended. in a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumkin mixture until just blended. Pour into the prepared pans.

3Bake for about 50 min.
