cranberries, fresh or frozen
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease one loaf pan, or two small loaf pans.
In large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cranberries.
In medium size mixing bowl, combine egg, milk, butter, and almond extract. Add to dry ingredients and mix just until moist.
Spread batter into prepared pan(s), and sprinkle with topping. Bake 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
