This is such a quick and easy dessert to prepare - and smells amazing while baking in the oven. The glaze is absolutely indulgent! Rich butter pecan flavor with cinnamon. Almost everyone has the ingredients in their kitchen right now... so you can enjoy this any time!

Ingredients

6 Tbsp
butter
1 c
pecans, chopped

COBBLER BATTER:

1 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
salt
2/3 c
granulated sugar
1 c
milk
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract

GLAZE:

1 c
light brown sugar
1/4 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 c
hot water

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2In a 9X9 baking dish add butter. Place in oven.
3While butter is melting, mix ingredients for cobbler batter in a medium bowl until smooth.
4Remove pan from oven and sprinkle pecan pieces over butter.
5Carefully pour cobbler batter over butter and pecans.
6Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over cobbler batter.
7Carefully pour hot water over brown sugar and cinnamon.
8Place back into oven and bake 35 to 45 minutes until cobbler batter is cooked. The glaze underneath will be thin.
9Remove from oven and allow to sit until warm about 20 to 30 minutes - the glaze will thicken as it sits. Enjoy! This would also be good served with ice cream. (:
