Laura's Notes:

I take this to social gatherings & use one of the disposable cake size pans with the clear plastic lids to bake & carry it in. I have never had any of it left over, & I don't know how many people have asked for the recipe. It's hard to stop with just one slice/piece of this great bread!

Directions

1
Brown sausage, add onion and cook until tender.
2
Beat eggs, add mayo & milk and mix well. Add to sausage & onion mixture.
3
Mix alternately with baking mix, about 1/3 at a time, ending with baking mix.
4
Add cheeses, salt, & parsley and mix just enough to incorporate.
5
Spray 11x9x2-1/2" pan with cooking spray (such as Pam), pour bread mix into pan. Bake in 400 F oven for 30 minutes.

Did you mean hot Italian sausage? Sounds like something my family would enjoy with Italian sausage, just wondering, I've never heard of pan sausage! And we love ALL THINGS SAUSAGE, so I don't want to miss out on a pork (?) product I may not know about!

This sounds great, but I am unsure when you use the milk.

Sherri - I usually use Jimmy Dean hot sausage, but I imagine that hot Italian sausage would be great if it's taken out of the casing before it's cooked.

Sarah - Forgot to put that I usually mix the milk in with the mayo mixture. It's really very easy to put together that way.

Wow. Just made this ! I used low fat milk (1%) and low fat mayo and it was PERFECT, oh so good. I also made it in an 8x8, and it was still done by 39 minutes. Sooo good!!

Denise, did it overflow the 8x8? I find that it totally fills the large pan that I normally cook it in. Also like your idea of making it a bit more healthy.

It did not overflow, but it was a pan filled high with bread! Lol. Sooo tasty.
