Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Muffins

I found this recipe on a blog a few years ago. It's a great blend of chocolate and peanut butter without being too overwhelming.

pinch tips: How to Cook Scrambled Eggs


2 1/4 c
all-purpose flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
2/3 c
brown sugar
6 Tbsp
butter, melted and cooled
1/2 c
peanut butter, creamy
2 large
1 c
3/4 c
chocolate chips

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 375°. Line a muffin pan with 12 paper liners.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, peanut butter, eggs and milk until smooth. Add in the flour mixture and stir until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Divide batter evenly between prepared muffin tins, filling each to the top.
Bake for 17-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.

I have a dear neighbor..whose Birthday is coming up. She has muffins everyday for Breakfast. And her favorite thing in the world is Peanut Butter. I am going to make her muffins for her Birthday this week ...thanks for the recipe. Blessings, Grace

These sound so good on this cool, rainy day (in So. California!?) They are in the oven now & my home smells sooo good. The only thing I did different was put a very light sprinkling of regular sugar over the top of each muffin. I roll peanut butter cookies in sugar, too, before i flatten them. (sweet-tooth here) Anyway, i'm sure they are awesome without it... will let u know how they turn out ~ i can already tell ~ yummy! {8 more minutes & counting} :o)

I just made these & they are great!! Not too sweet for breakfast. My almost 3 yr old took a bite & said MMMMM These taste good! Ill agree!!
