Ingredients

3/4 c
firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c
butter ( or margarine ) softened
1 1/2 c
mashed ripe bananas
2
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla
1 c
all purpose flour
1 c
whole wheat flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1/4 tsp
salt
1/2 c
miniature semi sweet chocolate chips

Step-By-Step

1Heat oven to 350 F.
In large mixing bowl combine sugar and butter.
Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture is creamy, ( 1 to 2 minutes )
2Add bananas, eggs and vanilla. Continue beating, scraping bowl often, until well mixed ( 1 to 2 minutes ).
3In medium bowl stir together flours, baking soda and salt.
Add flour mixture to banana mixture; stir just until moistened.
4Fold in chocolate chips.
Spoon into greased muffin pans.
Bake for 18 to 25 minutes; or until light golden brown.
Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans
