Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

I love bananas and I love chocolate.
If you find a real good deal on lots of bananas, let them get very ripe (the riper the better the flavor) and then just put them in the freezer, as is with the peel still on, and they freeze beautifully. Thaw when you want to use them. They are black at this stage and don't look pretty and when thawed are limp and soft, but work perfectly in baking and very easy to mash.
