This is a dense, heavy and moist loaf with a fine crumb. It says the chocolate and peanut butter chips are optional but we all know they really aren't!

Ingredients For peanut butter banana bread

3 call purpose flour

1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 1/2 tspbaking soda

1 1/2 tspsalt

1 tspground cinnamon

4small, very ripe, bananas

3/4 csmooth peanut butter
-
1 1/2 tsppure vanilla

1 1/2 Tbspmilk
-
3/4 cbutter(softened)

1 1/2 cwhite sugar
-
3eggs(large)
-
1 csemi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

1/2 cpeanut butter chips (optional)
How To Make peanut butter banana bread

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Very generously grease 2 8"X4" loaf pans with Crisco (I use butter flavored).

2Stir together first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Set Aside.

3Place next 4 ingredients in another bowl. Set aside.

4In a large bowl, with a mixer, cream butter and sugar together for at least 3 minutes until light and fluffy (the yellow color should be much lighter when done). Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well and scraping down the bowl after each one.

5Using the mixer, blend the banana bowl ingredients and clean off the beaters, you are done with the mixer.

6Stir the banana mixture into the butter mixture with a wooden spoon or use my favorite, a silicone spoonula!

7Sift all the flour mixture into the big bowl and stir just until blended.

8Fold in all the chips and put batter equally into the prepared loaf pans.

9Bake approx. 70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.

10Cool on a rack, in the pan, for 10 minutes before removing from pan to cool completely (a couple of hours at least) before slicing.
