Ingredients

1/4 c
butter, softened
1 c
sugar

eggs
1 c
mashed ripe bananas
2 c
flour
1-1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
cinnamon (optional)
1/4 c
milk
1- 1/2 c
cranberries, coarsely chopped
1/2 c
nuts

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large bowl, beat butter with sugar until fluffy; beat in eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each.
Add bananas, mixing well.

Whisk together dry ingredients.
Stir into butter mixture alternately with milk, making 3 additions of dry ingredients and 2 of milk.
Stir only until to moisten.
Fold in cranberries and nuts.

Put into a greased and floured 9 X 5 inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
