Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into slices
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
How To Make sour cream biscuits

Step 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Combine the flour, baking powder, and Kosher salt.

Step 2Add butter slices.

Step 3Cut in butter with a pastry blender.

Step 4Mix the buttermilk, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.

Step 5Add to the dry ingredients.

Step 6Stir gently until the dough comes together. Do not knead the dough.

Step 7Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll or pat it down to 1/2" - 3/4" thickness. Cut out biscuits

Step 8Place on a half sheet pan lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
