1Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt & cream of tartar. Cut in butter till coarse. Add egg and milk quickly; knead lightly on floured surface. Roll to 1-inch thick; cut with biscuit cutter and bake on lightly greased baking sheet at 450F for 12-15 minutes.

They are not sweet at all...but lather some butter and honey on them, they are slap your momma good!!

KImi, You know what I learned while working yrs ago in a rest.
They make their dough, Then pat it in a pan,
and score the biscuits into squares,
and then break apart as needed to serve.
I wonder how this Idea would work for these??
