The ingredients are simple and has been a favorite of my family for many years!

Mix all dry ingredients well with fork. Stir in milk and oil. The dough needs to be moist, add more milk if necessary. Only stir long enough for dough to form, over-stirring will cause the biscuits to be tough.
Heat oil on low in a deep skillet or stove top pan. Sprinkle in flour evenly. Add meat if desired.
Very slowly add milk and water, stirring steadily. Milk should thicken when brought to a simmer.
When thick, add salt and black pepper to taste.
