Apple Fritter Cake
INGREDIENTS

Filling:
•
1 heaping cup chopped apples (i used 3 golden delicious peeled, cored chopped)
•
1/3 c sugar
•
1/4 tsp cinnamon
•
2 tbsp cornstarch
•
2 tsp water
•
(can be doubled if you extra apple-y cake - which I did as well)
•
Plus:
•
1/2 c brown sugar
•
1/2 tsp cinnamon
•
Cake:
•
1/3 c butter
•
3/4 c sugar
•
1/2 c applesauce (i used cinnamon applesauce)
•
1 tsp vanilla
•
2 eggs
•
2 1/4 c flour
•
1 tsp baking powder
•
1 tsp baking soda
•
1 tsp salt
•
1 tsp cinnamon
•
1 cup sour cream
•
Glaze:
•
2 c powered sugar
•
1 tsp vanilla
•
6 tbsp milk
