all purpose flour
egg beaten with 1/2 cup water
Wash and slice tomatoes to 1/4 inch thinkness.
Fill ziplock bag with flour and cornmeal.
Mix the beaten egg with 1/2 cup cold water.
Heat bacon drippings with oil to a frying temp
Dip several slices of tomatoe into egg mixture then into the flour mixture to coat. Add your salt and pepper and fry until tomatoes are tender and breading is a golden brown
