Ingredients

24
oysters
rock salt
1 c
heavy cream
1 c
grated parmesan cheese
1/2 c
melted butter

Step-By-Step

1Open oysters and remove from shells. Wash 24 half shells. Place an oyster in each. Set in shallow baking pan filled with rock salt. Pour 2 t. cream over each oyster. Sprinkle each with 2 t. cheese and 1 t. melted butter. Place under a preheated broiler just until the edges curl and the cheese is lightly browned. Makes 6 servings.
