bread round, hollowed out
2 pkg
broccoli, chopped, frozen
2 pkg
cream cheese
1/3 c
water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3 Tbsp
1 tsp
lemon juice
1/4 tsp
nutmeg, ground
1/8 tsp
cayenne pepper


1Cut 2" slice off top of round bread loaf.

2Remove center portion, leaving at least 2" of bread on the bottom and 1" on the sides.

3Cut remaining bread into cubes.

4Unwrap broccoli; place on plate.

5Microwave on high 5-8 minutes or until defrosted.

6Drain broccoli, pressing to remove excess moisture.

7In medium bowl, microwave the cream cheese at 50% (medium) or until softened.

8Mix in the broccoli and remaining ingredients.

9Spoon broccoli mixture into hollowed out bread loaf.

10Serve dip with reserved bread cubes, crackers or chips.
