This is a recipe that my mother would make for "refreshment" night. Saturday night was a special night for our family. We would all have our own glass bottle Coca Cola and whatever was the refreshment for that night. We would then sit down and watch Saturday Night Movies on channel 10.

Ingredients

1 lb
raw peanuts
1/4 c
canola oil
salt, to taste

Step-By-Step

1Heat oil.
2Place peanuts in the hot oil.
3Stir constantly until they just begin to turn red. If you cook them any longer, they will taste scorched.
4Remove from pan (a black skillet works best). Place on paper towels to drain.
5Salt to taste.
6Store any leftovers in an air-tight container. Leftovers were never a problem at the Sugg household.
