Darcy's Notes:

Super Easy and Super delicious - ready in minutes, great alongside Spaghetti or Lasagne or a Salad.

Directions

1
Slice bread in half through the middle horizontally. Mix Butter and Johnny's Seasoning. Spread on bread, wrap bread in foil with butter sides together(back like a loaf), place in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.
2
Mix Cheeses, garlic powder, and pepper.
3
Remove bread from oven and top with Cheese blend. Fold foil up sides of bread and place open faced bread back in oven to brown the tops of bread and melt/toast cheeses. Put oven on broil and watch carefully so not to burn.
4
Remove from oven. Sprinkle with the Italian Seasoning. Cut into strips and enjoy.
(If using baguettes it's a little more work as you will slice first in step 1)

Hadn't heard of the seasoning salt! Know you have me excited to find it as well! If you try the recipe let me know what you think and if you made any changes! I love feedback and tweaking of recipes! It only makes us all improve or try something that we hadn't thought of!

I make this type of garlic bread alot! I like to use plain bagels in place of french bread most the time...And toss a slice of ham on it and pineapple ring (well drained) and you almost have a meal! :)
I have a hard time finding johnnys...when I do, I stock pile! :)

I like the bagel idea! Little pizza/alfredo sauce and you have bagel pizza! Yum - thanks :)

I tried this tonight and loved it! I didn't use the italian seasoning, johnnings galic seasoning or the loaf bread. I used Texas toast because that is what I had on hand. I also used cheddar cheese and monterary cheese because thats what I had on hand. Needless to say I will be using the recipe more often, but will try it with the loaf bread next time.
