Sausage Pinwheels

Melissa Gaines

I received this recipe from one of the girls at work. These are very easy and make a great addition for breakfast or as an appetizer. These are one of my 9 year old daughter's favorite things that I make.

1 lb
breakfast sausage
8 oz
cream cheese
1 can(s)
refrigerated crescent rolls

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown Sausage on stove top. Drain grease from sausage.

Place cream cheese in pan with sausage and stir to allow the cheese to melt. Remove from heat.

Place crescent roll dough on cookie sheet pressing seams together to make one large sheet of dough.

Allow sausage and cheese mixture to cool. Place mixture on crescent roll dough spread to about 1/4 inch from edge. Begin on one side rolling the dough up into a long roll. Refrigerate over night or place in freezer for about 15 minutes.

Take out of refrigerator or freezer and slice, placing slices on cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for approximately 12-15 minutes.
