When steak is on the menu, we usually end up with a bit left over. How to use up the left over steak was becoming a big question for me. Then I hit on an idea, partially from a Ritz recipe on the box of my personal favorite cracker and my own imagination and taste. They ended up being such a hit with my husband and I that it's mandatory to save some steak for these Friday night appetizers. Enjoy!
Cut up left over steak into bite-size slices. In a medium hot skillet, add butter and when melted, add the steak, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce and let cook for a few minutes.
In a bowl, add the cheeses, then add the steak and toss until steak is coated with the cheeses.
Add 1 to 3 steak pieces to each cracker. Bake in oven for about 10 minutes.
