Ingredients

4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 c swiss cheese (shredded)
3/4 c cooked ham (diced)
1/4 c chives (minced)
18 slice french bread (cut 1/2 in. thick)

I usually double this recipe and sometimes have it as the main dish paired with a salad.

 

Directions

In small bowl, beat cream cheese and mustard until smooth. Stir in swiss cheese, ham, and chives.

Spread 1 tablespoon of mixture over each bread slice. Place slices on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned and bread is crusty.
