Chicken Livers Wrapped In Bacon

I had guests over for dinner this weekend and I decided to make a new appetizer.
Everybody loved my choice and I got tons of compliments.
You can serve this as a starter or main course with some potatoes.
Wrapping the liver in bacon will make the liver juicy, not dry as it normally is.

Ingredients

8 slice
bacon, halved
1 lb
chicken livers, halved
6 oz
water chestnuts, whole, canned drained and sliced
2 Tbsp
oil

Step-By-Step

1Lay bacon slices flat.
2Place chicken livers and water chestnuts on top, roll up and secure with toothpicks.
Note: Water Chestnuts Optional
3Heat oil in wok or frying pan.
4Add liver rolls and cook until bacon is browned.
