Bourbon Hot Dogs

I have had a crookpot of these for every Christmas Eve for many years. My boys all insist. Other dishes change but this is always there. Sometimes after all the hotdogs are gone, I save the sauce and the next day or so I add more hotdogs and have some more when the kids stop by. Most all of the alcohol cooks out of them so they don't have that much in them.

1 bottle
14 oz. catsup
1 c
dark brown sugar
1 c
2 lb
beef hot dogs or beef cocktail weenies


1Mix everything except hot dogs into a large saucepan or crockpot.

2Cover and simmer for 2 hours

3Cut hotdogs into slices and add at last 15 minuts at the end or until hot.

4Serve with slotted spoon
