Janell's Story

Made 3 lbs of these for our Wedding Party.....they were the first thing to go and everyone wanted the recipe.

Ingredients

1 lb
hot dogs
1 lb
bacon
1 c
brown sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Cut each hot dog into quarters. Wrap each piece with 1/3 slice of bacon. Secure with toothpick, makes for easy serving. Pack tightly into shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar.

Bake @ 350 one hour or until bacon is cooked.
Pour off excess fat before using a spatula to place onto serving Tray.
Can easily be made double or more.

I always line my pan with foil. It really helps with the clean up. I make these a lot, my family loves them.

My mother has been gone for 11 years and this was arecipe she used every family reunion loved them. Very fattening but oh so yummy

I've made them with cocktail bites but not with hot dogs. I'll have to try this!
