Ingredients
| 1 pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated | |
| 1 cup mayonnaise | |
| 1 cup chopped pecans | |
| 1 small onion, grated | |
| dash black pepper | |
| dash red pepper | |
| dash garlic powder | |
| dash salt | |
| 1 jar strawberry preserves 12 oz |

Directions
Mix cheese, mayonnaise, pecans onion, black pepper, red pepper, garlic powder and salt in bowl. Mix well. Spoon into large greased ring mold. Chill, covered, for 8 hours or longer.
Dip mold in hot water for 5 seconds and run a knife around edge. Invert onto a serving plate
Fill center with preserves. Serve with crackers. May substitute 5 to 6 chopped green onions for the onion and seedless raspberry preserves for the strawberry preserves. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
