Microwaved Swiss-Gruyere Fondue

Ingredients

2 c
gruyere cheese, shredded
2 c
swiss cheese, shredded
3 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
dry mustard
dash(es)
garlic powder
3/4 c
dry white wine
1/2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
vegetable dippers or bread cubes

Step-By-Step

1Toss together cheeses, flour, mustard, and garlic powder.

2In a 1 1/2 quart microwave-safe casserole, micro-cook wine, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/4 cup water, uncovered, on 100% power (high) 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until hot.

3Add cheese mixture to hot liquid.

4Micro-cook, uncovered, on 50% power (medium) 7 to 9 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring every 2 minutes.

5Serve with vegetable dippers or bread cubes.

6Reheat as necessary in the casserole on medium 2 to 3 minutes.
