- butter softened (4 sticks)

- sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 4 c
- all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp
- fine sea salt
- 1 1/2 tsp
- cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp
1Cream butter and cheese in large bowl.
2Sift flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Add to butter mixture slowly until completely blended. I use my stand mixer for this.
3Cover and refridgerate for 3 hours.
4Shape dough into logs wrap in wax paper and refridgerate until ready to cook.
5Slice into 1/4 inch slices and put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
