Ingredients

2 pkg (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
2 c shredded sharp cheddear cheese (i use the fancy shredded cheese)
2 c shredded mild cheddar cheese (fancy type)
4 oz crumbled blue cheese
4 1/2 tsp prepared horseradish (i use our homegrown)
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/8 to 1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/3 c finely chopped pecans, toasted
1/3 c chopped pine nuts or any other type of nut you like

Dana's Notes:
I love cheese and the more cheese the better. These cheese balls are loaded with some amazing cheese and the horseradish makes them pop. They also freeze very well.
 
 

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the cheeses, horseradish, worcestershire sauce, onion and garlic powder. Shape into two balls. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Toast your nuts, cool.

Combine the nuts, if you did not toast them together; press the nuts into your two cheese balls. I usually put the nuts in a large bowl and then I roll the cheese ball around pressing to make sure it is completely covered.

If you freeze a cheese ball for later, remove it from the freezer one hour before serving.

Susan that is okay. I do that all the time. Just the other day I put a post about getting gas in my car and said something like putting a case in my care! Of course everyone wanted to know if it was a case of beer! What a hoot that was.
