1 Tbspolive oil

20uncooked jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined or use precooked, peeled, deveined shrimp*

1 Tbspgreen onions, sliced

1/4 cwhite wine

1 Tbspgarlic, minced

2 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
1 tsphot sauce
-
1/2 tspcayenne pepper

1/2 tsppaprika

2 Tbspbutter
How To Make new orleans shrimp appetizer

1In a large cast iron skillet over high heat, add oil and cook shrimp until just done, turning pink. Remove shrimp and set aside. (*If shrimp is precooked, wait and add shrimp at the end of the recipe.)

2Add green onions and cook 1 minute. Add wine and reduce by half.

3When reduced, add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, cayenne pepper and paprika. Cook 1 minute. Reduce heat to low.

4Add butter and melt. Add shrimp to pan; toss well to coat and heat through.
