I also like to add a small carton of fresh mushrooms when I am cooking the onions. This is optional.

Ingredients

1 lb
crawfish tails
1/2 stick
butter
1 small
onion
6 stalk(s)
green onions
1 Tbsp
minced garlic
1/2 c
mayonaise
1
loaf of french bread

Step-By-Step

1melt butter in a pan and sauté chopped onion and chopped green onion. Add minced garlic and simmer until onions are wilted.
2Add your crawfish tails (shrimp can be substituted if desired). Simmer for 10 minutes until crawfish are cooked. Add mayonnaise and simmer another few minutes.
3Served hot over sliced French bread.
