picante sauce or salsa, chunky (your favorite)
or 7 large shrimp, cooked peeled & deveined
Choose your serving bowls, wine or Margarita glasses or goblets.
Dice avocado; sprinkle with lime juice.
Pour salsa into bowl or glass that will be used to serve.
Top with diced avocado (sometimes I reserve 1 slice for garnish, as pictured.)
Arrange shrimp to hang over rim of bowl or glass. (Note: May be served with shrimp, cut into bite-size pieces, mixed into the salsa, also. Makes eating it less "messy.")
Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until served (do not make ahead more than an hour or two.)
