Fresh Broccoli with Homemade Ranch Style Dip

- 1 head of fresh broccoli – sliced into spears
- for the dip:
- 8 oz. of cream cheese
- ¼ cup of grated romano or parmesan cheese
- ½ cup of milk
- 1 large garlic clove
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. red pepper flakes
1Blanch the broccoli; drain and set aside to cool.
In a food processor combine all of the ingredients for the dip and process until smooth and creamy. Adjust the thickness of the dip by adding the milk a little at a time. Make the dip thickness to your liking.
Serve with a lemon wedge to squeeze over the broccoli.
