Ingredients

4-6
chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1 bottle
sweet baby ray's bbq sauce
1/4 c
vinegar
1 tsp
red pepper flakes
1/4 c
brown sugar
1 tsp
garlic powder

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix BBQ sauce with vinegar, red pepper flakes, brown sugar and garlic powder.

Place chicken in crockpot (still frozen is ok). Pour sauce mixture over chicken.

Cook on LOW 4-6 hours.

It is one of those weeks with temperatures in the 90s all week and an unexpected double shift at work. I needed a simple slow cooker recipe to prepare some chicken breasts in my refrigerator. I have been making bbq beef for sandwiches in the slow cooker for decades, so when I saw this, I knew I had to try it. I shredded the meat after cooking and served on King's Hawaiian rolls. Delicious! For ease, versatility, and flavor, 4 stars
