Ingredients

4-6
chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1 bottle
sweet baby ray's bbq sauce
1/4 c
vinegar
1 tsp
red pepper flakes
1/4 c
brown sugar
1 tsp
garlic powder

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix BBQ sauce with vinegar, red pepper flakes, brown sugar and garlic powder.

Place chicken in crockpot (still frozen is ok). Pour sauce mixture over chicken.

Cook on LOW 4-6 hours.

I made this yesterday. It was really dry and the chicken fell apart. It was almost shredded. I cooked it the amount of time you said too. I used chicken breast. Why was it so dry?

becca lynn, you could do several things to find out. First, try making it on a non-work day to see if it is too long. You could also freeze all the ingredients before placing them in the crockpot. OR you could get a little appliance timer you plug into the wall and plug the crockpot into and set it to turn off at the proper time.

Question on time .. I go to work about 5:30a and usually not home until 4:30p. Is that way to long to do this on low?
