Shannon's Notes:

These are easy to make and delicious! Also great for holiday gift giving.

*I use 16oz. each of dry roasted and unsalted peanuts so this doesn't get too salty. You can use other nuts if you like and make it your own.

Directions

1
Turn crockpot on high and add all ingredients. Cook for 45 minutes without peeking or stirring.
2
Reduce heat to low and cook for an additional 1 1/2 hours stirring every 30 minutes.
3
Drop teaspoons of chocolate onto waxed paper and allow to cool, aprox. 30 minutes. You can also spread this onto waxed paper or foil, allow to cool then break into pieces.

It is easy and very good. The recipe I have is a little different. It calls for chocolate bark as well.

Shannon, can this be made in a slow cooker, which typically cooks a little faster than a crockpot, or does it strickly need to be done in a crockpot? Thanks!

I am not sure about the slow cooker as I haven't tried it, but I can't see why it wouldn't work. I would just watch it as the cooking/melting time should be less. Good luck and be sure to post your results.
