I got this same recipe from my aunt but I believe her "Monster" referred to the amount of each ingredient - 12 eggs, 2# brown sugar, 4 c sugar, 1# butter, 1 T syrup, 1 T vanilla, 3# peanut butter, 8 tsp soda, 18 c oatmeal, 1# m & m's and 1# chocolate chips. Luckily I have a Kitchen Aide mixer as getting the bulk of the ingredients is a chore. This recipe makes a ton of cookies or a half of a ton if you use an ice cream scoop!!!

You just use oatmeal instead of flour. They are very yummy!! My mom said she didnt have enough oatmeal to make these one time so she did use 1/2 flour & 1/2 oatmeal. She said they were still good. I figure they are better for ya since they have all oatmeal! lol!
