My Mom used to make this yummy custard. The flour settles to the bottom and creates its own crust. Easy and very good!

I didn't have all purpose so I had to use self rising and put in a spoon of PB. After baking for 45 it was rising and brown but still like water I the middle :(

I had a recipe once that was for chicken and dumplings and it used hard apple cider in both the broth and the dumpling. I lost the recipe it was so good...took a little bit more time to prep and cook but so worth it..does anyone have a recipe for it

I always use butter in mine. I use Splenda when I am taking it to a social event as I know some are diabetic and they can eat this.

I use butter instead of margarine in this recipe and it turns out great. WARNING..BETTER MAKE TWO. EVERYONE LOVES IT.
