Jan's Notes:
A friend of my mother's gave her this recipe years ago. I love to make this when it's too hot to cook in the summer. It's substantial enough with some Italian bread to be the entire lunch! Sometimes I add diced chicken to it if I have it.

Directions

1
Boil linguine to your preferred 'doneness'. Drain.
2
Sprinkle on the package of seasoning, add the bottle of dressing and chopped onions. Mix thoroughly.
3
Refrigerate until chilled. I like to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, and serve with Italian bread.

I put them in with the onions so they marinate very well. BTW--this makes a LOT of pasta salad! I happen to be enjoying some right now for lunch! Nice on a hot day.
