Nichole's Notes:

We go to a lot of potluck type of get-togethers. This is one of my "stock" recipes that I get asked to bring all the time.
I tend to make it on the mild side when I take it to a potluck so it appeals to more people . When I make it at home I like to kick-up the heat a little.
This is a large recipe and can be halved.

Directions

1
Cook diced chicken in a little oil & hot sauce (optional).
Drain and set aside to cool.
If you use the Tyson Buffalo Chicken Chunks simply heat them in the microwave according to the directions and dice.

* Keep a pair of kitchen scissors that are used exclusively for cutting-up chicken. Much easier than using a knife.
2
Cook Pasta, rinse and drain. Add to chicken.
3
Add bacon, cheese, tomatoes, dressing & hot sauce or cajun seasoning. You can add more or less of the dressing and hot sauce to get the right intensity for you.
4
Mix and Chill.

This is one of the BEST salads I have ever had in my life! I tweaked it a little; added a diced green pepper and 1 bunch of scallions chopped up; used an entire bag of Tyson Buffalo Chicken strips - semi thawed and cut in chunks; otherwise, left the recipe alone! It was SUPERB!!!!! Way to go Nichole!

Thank you Phyllis! I like the addition of the scallions and will try it the next time I make this recipe.
I make a similar recipe to this that exchanges the bacon with scallions and the pasta with coleslaw, then stuff mixture into tortillas. The coleslaw sounds strange, but it gives the wrap a great texture. Perfect for a summer lunch.

This salad will definitely be on my "must make" list all the time - can't wait to take it to a potluck! It is scrumptious!

I think I'm trying this this weekend for church potluck. Just need something that doesn't need tending, can be served chilled! Looks like just the ticket!

You can't go wrong with this recipe Louise! It will earn you raves, believe me! We just LOVE it! I use the Tyson buffalo chicken tenders cut up (easy and delicious). Enjoy!
