Missy's Notes:

Not your usual Chex Mix. This is a great summer treat. Who does not LOVE lemon!!!! Enjoy!

Directions

1
Measure cereal in large bowl and set aside.
2
In a 1 quart microwavable bowl, microwave chips, butter, lemon peel and juice uncovered on high for 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon ziploc baggie.
3
Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; gently shake until well coated. Spread on waxed papaer to cool. Store in air tight container.

I have a feeling I won't need an airtight container to store this. My hubby will probably gobble it up so there won't be any to store..

I really enjoyed myself. Too bad I live so far, or I might take classes at the cooking school. I think that would be fun.

LOVE THIS IDEA! I teach "Muddy Buddies" to my FCS classes but this is a great option for my kiddos who don't love chocolate OR peanut butter!
