Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green pepper
  • 16 ounces canned sliced mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 20 ounces condensed tomato soup
  • 6 ounces canned tomato paste
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 8 ounces broad noodles
  • 1 pound shredded sharp cheese

How To Make marzetti

  • Step 1
    Brown beef and drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients.
  • Step 2
    Cook over low heat stirring occasionally for 45 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Cook noodles and add to meat mixture.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Add cheese the last 10 minutes of baking time.
  • Step 6
    If refrigerated-increase baking time to 1 hour.
