Ingredients
- 5 - chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless, cubed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 - yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 - carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 dash freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup frozen green peas
- 2 packages refrigerated flaky biscuit dough, cut in quarters

Step 1In a 5-qt. crockpot, combine chicken, butter, soups, black pepper, onions, carrots and water, stirring until smooth.

Step 2Cook on high about 5-6 hours. About 45 minutes before serving, add the peas and quartered biscuit pieces and stir well. Cook an additional 40-45 minutes or until dumpling pieces are done.
