Jan's Notes:
If you like the popular fast-food frappe, you'll like this recipe. You make the mix, keep it in a zip-lock bag and pop it into the blender whenever you want!
Makes a a bag that will make about 8 servings and is MUCH, MUCH cheaper than the fast-food one.

Directions

1
Mix all dried ingredients in a zip-loc type bag. Knead with hands until mixed well.
2
Put a couple of handfuls of ice in blender. Add liquid half and half cream or milk. Pour in 1/2 cup of the powdered mix. Blend and serve! I add Fat Free Cool Whip, drizzled with Fat Free Caramel sauce. If you want mocha, just drizzle with chocolate sauce. Ha--maybe the Fat Free ingredients convince me the other ingredients aren't fattening!!

Yes, my husband and I are addicted too!! At least this way we save a few calories by using some fat-free ingredients (cool whip and caramel)--also I made it with fat-free milk and it wasn't much different!
Mickey Dee's are so high in calories! Think of the money we'll save!

Mickey D's uses ice cream in their Frappe's. A small one is 420 calories. i'll enjoy yours very much! And Carmel/Mocha is my favorite. Thanks

When I looked up the calorie count them I about fell over. I could hardly pass a Mickey D without getting one, and usually is wasn't the small one. I cannot wait to try this.
