Ingredients For portuguese bean soup

1-2 ozham bones

1 cankidney beans, canned

2 mdpotato

3carrot

1 lgonion

1 can(16 oz.) tomato sauce

1 can(16 oz.) crushed tomato canned

1portuguese sausage or other type of sausage

1 celbow macaroni
-
1 tspsalt or as you like
-
1 tsppepper
-
1 mdcabbage head
How To Make portuguese bean soup

1Boil ham bone in enough water to cover bone. Cook until tender save stock.Stock will be reduced by about half. Bring stock to a boil and add all ingredients except cabbage.

2Simmer 1-2 hours until all veggies are tender. Last half hour add cabbage and more salt and pepper if needed. Cook until cabbage is done.

3Serve over hot rice or corn bread.
