I make these every fall with my harvested green beans and fresh dill. they are sooo yummy. good alone of with so many things even in Bloody Marys!!!

Ingredients For "dilly beans"

2 1/2 ccider vinegar
-
2 1/2 cwater
-
1/4 cpickling salt
-
garlic cloves
-
cayenne pepper
-
crushed red pepper
-
dill heads
-
fresh green beans
How To Make "dilly beans"

1pack green beans in pint jars. to each packed jar add: 1 clove garlic 1/8 to 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1/8 to 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 1 dill head

2Boil Vinegar, water and salt. Pour hot mixture into packed jars. put on HOT lids. Bring some water to a boil. Process jars 15 minutes in hot water bath

3I usually leave them for 2 months or so before I eat them so they have plenty of time to pickle. depending on how you pack the jars. this recipe should make 4 pints or so.
