This is another old Polish recipe that my Grandfather Frank B. Sullivan brought home to his wife and to his mother. It is a very easy recipe to make... and it is quite good!

Ingredients For polish sauerkraut bake

  • 1 lg
    can (28 - 32 ounces) sauerkraut
  • 2 lg
    potatoes (diced)
  • 2 lg
    apples (cored, and diced)
  • 3/4 c
    raisins
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar

How To Make polish sauerkraut bake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Mix all ingredients together in a baking dish. Bake until potatoes and apples are tender and all is golden brown (about 35 minutes).

    *** This is a great side dish to serve with any pork that you choose to serve: sausages, pork steaks, pork chops or ham are all great with this recipe!
